A Second On-Site Stocktaking Project in Riyadh

A further stocktaking project in Riyadh, delivered to the same United Integrated Logistics methodology but in a different storage environment that called for an adapted counting plan and zone breakdown.

Here we worked from a spatial structure of zones based on the size and nature of the items, assigning a counting team to each zone and a movement route that prevents teams from overlapping — the detail that eliminates the two most common stocktaking errors: double counting, or missing a location altogether.

Preliminary results were reported to management as the count progressed, with an immediate recount of every item showing a variance before the final figures were signed off.
